Working on the 'Choreography for Children Award' they won in summer 2012, Levantes started the year creatively with shows at 'The Place' and 'The Lilyan Baylis', 'Sadler's Wells'. Duck Man was a hit thanks largely to the wonderful team of people supporting us, with special appreciation for the creative team; Animator Adam Gregory, the Band Honeyfeet, our lovely Dramaturge Lisa Marie Bowler, Photographer Foteini Christofilopoulou and the very talented London Contemporary performers. Well done to everyone for a fantastic show!
Commissioned and produced by 'Sadler’s Wells', 'Company of Angels' and
'The Place', Co-commissioned by 'Dance East', Supported by 'MOKO DANCE'.
"Levantes Dance Theatre were wonderful. Their work is infusing."
"The sheer physicality of 'Duck Man' was brilliant."
"Duck Man was a picture book fantasy come to life."

TWO PEAS WITHOUT A POD
image: Mark Mitchell
'Two Peas Without a Pod' was performed for the last time on its current tour on Monday, 18th November 2013 - 7:30pm at the Rose Theatre, Edge Hill University with post show Q&A.
It was great to perform in such a lovely venu where we were so well supported.
A big special thank you to our stage manager for the last two shows; Penny Cunningham.
In 'Two Peas Without a Pod', Levantes look at our human partnerships. Our journey through life is often a peculiar duet – who do we take on that journey with us, how does the partnership work and why do we need it? Levantes mix together the absurd and the familiar with set and flamboyant costume to take you on a fantastical and rather indulgent trip.
We are pleased to announce that Eleni has joined Tmesis Theatre as a dancer performing in 'Variations of the Heart'. Based in Liverpool, Tmesis Theatre is one of the country’s most unique, leading physical theatre companies.
We would like to thank Foteni Christofilopoulou for all the hard work she has been doing for us throughout the year; she is a fantastic photographer as well as a wonderfully generous friend to us and the company.
